Join Digital Participation Curator John Whall in using free and open source 3D creation suit, Blender, to learn the basics of 3D modelling techniques to create objects and spaces through shape making and materials.
You will design a basic exhibition space and co-design a virtual exhibition in the FORMAT Online virtual gallery toolkit New Art City. In New Art City you will learn how the virtual gallery space works, how to upload and position work and how to bring your exhibition ideas to life in an online space accessible to audiences from any web browser.
For this workshop you will need to download and install Blender from https://www.blender.org/download/. Please check you’re able to install Blender before booking.
