East meets West masterclass

FORMAT International Photography Festival, QUAD and GRAIN Projects are working in collaboration to deliver East Meets West, a set of four Masterclasses with a small group of selected artists and photographers from East and West Midlands to develop their practice.

So far, Matthew Murray, Andrew Jackson, Natasha Caruana and Peter Dench have shared their practice and industry knowledge with our participants. In the new year, we introduce our participants to Anthony Luvera, Kate Peters and Michael Sargeant.

The work of the East Meets West Masterclass participants will be exhibited as part of FORMAT19.
