Caleb Fung wins WMA/FORMAT Fellowship

FORMAT is delighted to announce that Caleb Fung is the winner of the WMA/FORMAT Fellowship.

“Caleb has been re-documenting the protests in Hong Kong and using everyday materials such as cotton and water to recreate moments from the demonstrations. His fictional constructions are visually attractive where weapons, tear gas and laser beam appear as symbols of protest, offering an alternative and reflective insight into the movement in Hong Kong alongside a wider body of work.” says Louise Fedotov-Clements.

Fung will be visiting FORMAT Festival at Derby in April 2020, to participate in a series of facilitated learning and development opportunities including the FORMAT International Portfolio Review.
