QUAD & FORMAT are delighted to announce the FUTURE FOCUS shortlist. 

25 artists have been chosen from the open call, from which 7 projects will be selected for an exhibition in QUAD’s main Gallery space, and the remaining 18 artists will have their work featured in a slideshow on QUAD’s large interactive screen, which is situated in the entrance to our main gallery, during the FUTURE FOCUS exhibition in January 2022.

We would like to thank everyone who submitted to the FUTURE FOCUS Open Call and congratulate everyone who made it to the longlist and shortlist stage. Our jury had an incredibly hard decision to make and this was a brilliant opportunity for us to see the work of the UK’s newest emerging talent. 

The FUTURE FOCUS exhibition will take place at QUAD from 29 January 2022 – 27 February 2022. A launch event will take place on 28 January, details to be announced soon.
