Christopher Nunn is a British photographer working throughout the UK and Europe. Since 2013 he has divided his time between the UK and Ukraine, building a body of work that documents the political crisis and ongoing war in the country of his grandmother’s birth.
In 2015 he was nominated for the prestigious Prix Pictet award, and in 2016 was selected as one of PDN’s 30 New and Emerging Photographers. In 2017 Chris was one of the winners of the Magenta Foundation Flash Forward award, and most recently was the recipient of the second Bob & Diane Fund grant for his work on Alzheimer’s.
He has exhibited widely in the UK and published three small books: Holy Water; Ukrainian Street Dogs and Kalush Part 1.
Recent clients include Saatchi Gallery, The Financial Times Weekend Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The Telegraph Magazine, i-D, De Correspondent, Le Monde and The New Yorker.
