Etinosa Yvonne leverages on the power of visual storytelling to create awareness, educate
and inform people about the causes and issues she is passionate about.
Based in Abuja, Nigeria Yvonne works as a freelance photographer and visual artist and has been commissioned by charities including the Obama Foundation, Save the Children and International Labour Organisation.
She has also worked for international publications such as The Guardian, Bloomberg Businessweek, Wall Street Journal and Sierra Magazine.
Yvonne has won a number of awards including the 2020 World Press 6*6 Africa Talent Award and in 2018 was the recipient of the National Geographic/Lagos Photo Portfolio Award.
She has exhibited internationally, including at the Lumix Festival for Young Visual Journalism, Germany; at the Afrika Museum in the Netherlands and at the Kigali Photo Festival, Rwanda. In 2018 she was invited to give a talk via video link at the Exposure Photography Festival, Canada.
