Steven Barritt

Born in Wales, raised in Cornwall, living in Bicester, working in London, Steven Barritt is an artist, photographer and lecturer whose work has been shown in The National Portrait Gallery; The Photographers Gallery and The Moscow Museum of Modern Art.
His work encompasses portraiture, landscape and constructed narrative, exploring recurring themes of humanity’s relationships with the spaces it inhabits. Barritt questions our acceptance of the reality in a photograph even though it can only reveal an interpreted reality.
