Tami Aftab is a London based portrait, fashion and lifestyle photographer often working with themes of intimacy and performance.
In 2020 Aftab received her BA Hons Photography Degree : First Class from the London College of Communications and was awarded both the TJ Boulting/LCC and the FORMAT Festival/LCC Awards. She is currently taking part in the Develop Education Programme for young photographers at The Photographer’s Gallery, London and in 2018 took part in the Canon Student Programme in Perpignan, France.
As a response to the cancellation of the BA degree show due to Covid19 regulations Aftab set up Three Men Make a Tiger: The Festival, a virtual event created to inspire and engage with emerging artists and graduates.
Her exhibitions include group shows with, The Nationwide Degree Show, Billboards, 2020; Environ, Copeland Gallery, Peckham, 2019 and Loading…, The Art Academy, Elephant & Castle, 2019.
