Vincent Hasselbach

Vincent Hasselbach is a researcher and curator specialised in photographic and archival practices, particularly in and from South Asia.

He collaborates with photographers and arts organisations; and worked on the second edition of Photo Kathmandu (2016) and the ninth and tenth editions of Chobi Mela in Dhaka (2017, 2019). He was also involved in the research stages of Nepal Picture Library’s Dalit: A Quest for Dignity project (2016).

He studied Social Anthropology and Modern South Asian Studies at the University of Cambridge, where he wrote dissertations about contemporary documentary photography in Bangladesh, and the Nepal Picture Library in Kathmandu, and also developed his practice as an arts producer. He lives and works in London and Berlin.
