FORMAT19 is delighted to host the presentation of the Kassel Dummy Award shortlist of 53 photobooks.
Selected from entries around the world, from Bangladesh to Norway, Russia to Australia via China and Brazil this important photobook competition received 391 entries from 46 countries.
Included in this touring exhibition, which will travel to international photo events in Kassel, Rome, Madrid, Dublin, Aarhus, Sofia, Zagreb, Dresden as well as Derby are the winning entries:
First Prize: Michael Danner (DE) – Migration as Avantgarde
Second Price: Karim El Maktafi (IT/MA) – Hayati
Third Prize: Filippo Romano (IT) – Water Tanks in Mathare Slum
