Derby City Council is working to ensure arts organisations can continue to operate from 19 Chapel Street, the former Déda premises.

As owners of the building, the Council has ensured normal access has continued for Hubbub, an integrated theatre company working with learning disabled adults, and Derby College since Déda ceased to operate.

The Council’s Derby LIVE events team has moved to 19 Chapel Street and is working to assist the existing users of the building. The Sales and Information Centre has moved to 19 Chapel Street from its previous location at the Guildhall Theatre, as preparations are made for the refurbishment of the historic Grade II-listed Guildhall.
