FORMAT International Photography Festival is back with a bang and we cannot wait to welcome you all to Derby with an exciting array of opening weekend celebrations. Get the events in your dairy and your party outfits ready – FORMAT23 is here!

Thursday 16 March – FORMAT23 launch with exhibition previews followed by an afterparty at FORMAT’s HQ, QUAD.  

Friday 17 March – FORMAT23 Conference exploring What Photography Can Be followed by exhibition launches and drinks reception at the University of Derby, Marketon Street. Continue the party at Dubrek to open the FORMAT23 Open Call Genesis Imaging Award exhibition with music from band Vipertime and sets from Year of Glad DJ’s.

Saturday 18 March – The FORMAT Portfolio Reviews are back, book yours now and celebrate with us for the final FORMAT23 Afterparty at the Photobook Market

Sunday 19 March – Explore Into the Promittocene Exhibition and experience a Yoga Walk at The Wireworks Project in Ambergate
