Michael Darough received his BFA in photography from Arizona State University and his MFA in photography from the University of Memphis. He went on to teach at Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA for 4 years before taking his current position at Baylor University as an Assistant Professor of Photography.
Darough has exhibited widely including at the San Francisco Bay International where he received a Silver Award; as part of New Photography II at the Academy Art Museum, Easton; 33rd Annual McNeese National Works on Paper receiving the Purchase Award; Texas Photographic Society’s 2019 National Photography Award and at the University of the Arts, Philadelphia.
