River Claure studied Graphic Design and Visual Communication at the University of San Simon, Bolivia, before completing his MSC in Contemporary Photography in Madrid, Spain, 2018.
He has won a number of awards including the Photography Scholarship at EFTI, Madrid; Projections at Punto De Encuentro, La Paz; Art Funds Programme for Urban Interventions and the Eduardo Abaroa National Arts Prize, Bolivia.
Claure has participated in the Valparaiso Photography Festival and was part of the Art Residency programme in Santa Bruz, Bolivia.
His work has been exhibited across South America including in the Centro Cultural in both Bolivia and Ecuador.
